Choose any of the following workshops as a half day, one day or 5-10 day workshop. All of our drama workshops implement the expectations from the Deptment of Education drama curriculum.

K- Gr 2

Pirates & Princesses

$5 per student

Level: Kindergarden - Grade 2

• 2 hours with a Pirate & a Princess

• PRINCESS or PIRATE LESSON: Etiquette lesson - everyone learns polite princess manners including how to curtsy, shake hands “please and thank you” and of course how to twirl; ARRRRG lesson - everyone learns sword fighting, impolite pirate manners including how to drink root beer, shake hands and of course how to read a map

• Create a crown and pirate hat

• Princess tea party or Pirate treasure hunt

• Dress up activity with a rolling rack of gowns, crowns & wands or vest, hats and swords

• Princess Dancing and everyone’s favourite, Ring-around-the-Rosie or a Pirate jig and brigade

• Photos with the princess or pirate

Seuss two You

$5 per student

Level: Kindergarden - Grade 2

• 2 hours with a Cat in the Hat

• Interactive storytelling with your, singing and games Seuss Style - Cat Cat...Hat, Jamming Session, Seuss-a-phone & Hat Tricks

• Create your own upside down silly, goofy, totally nut-free ice cream cone or yummy in the tummy green eggs and ham

• Discovering your five senses activities with the our silly willy bag of tricks

• Dress up activity with a rolling rack of silly hats, scarves and a colourful array of props you may recognize from Dr Seuss books

• Photos with the Cat in the Hat

Gr 3

pioneers

$5 per student

Level: Grade 3

• 2 hours with 2 Pioneers

• Pioneer LESSON: Games

Blindmans Bluff, Knuckle Bones, Chasing Hoops, Tag, Skipping rope, Carving, Marbles (made of clay), Checkers, Hide & Seek, Tic-Tac-Toe, String games, Nicky-Nicky Nine Doors, Croquet & Drop the Handkerchief

• Create a Homemade Kite

• Dress up activity with a rolling rack of hats, vest, aprons, blouses and suspenders

• Pioneer dance, mannerisms and everyone’s favourite- a Pioneer song

• Photos with the Pioneers

Gr 4

Medievel Times

$5 per student

Level: Grade 4

• 2 hours with a Knight & a Maiden

• Medievel LESSON: Quest for the Holy Grail - An interactive team lesson that includes history, puzzels, codes and challenges

• Create a Shield & learn how to make Armour

• Dress up activity with a rolling rack of hats, armour, dresses and coats

• Medievel dance, mannerisms and everyone’s favourite - a song

• Photos with the Maiden & Knight

Gr 2 - 8

Drama Works

$8 per student

Level: Grades 2 - Grade 8

• 4 hours with Drama Instructors

• 1 hour with a Backstage Tour of a upcoming Production

• Introduction to Improvsation: Using games, techniques and drama skills

• Dance & Vocals Lesson: A basic lesson using a Broadway Musical number

• Costume and Props Design: Try on our costumes and make your own puppet, or armour, or mask
